christine's is an all-organic microbakery with a mission to make organically sourced cookies and pastries, sharing our love for local food producers and the planet. We also sell artisanal home wares in our retail space, sourced from local makers and friends of christine's that share similar values of sustainability.

As a baker at christine's, you will be working to help with production and providing retail support at our space in San Francisco. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, communicative, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Work with our team to efficiently mix, shape, and bake products, ensuring consistency and quality
• Prepare products according to specifications, processes, and recipes
• Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
• Help fulfill, deliver, and pack customer orders and shipments
• Run retail operations of the microbakery during opening hours
  

Qualifications

• Able to work 40 hours/week and lift 50+ pounds
  
• Prior culinary or baking experience preferred
  
• Attention to detail - we need someone thorough and measures twice, since baking is all about accuracy
• Flexibility - as a small business, we're still growing and need someone who is flexible and willing to work with an evolving company
  

Shifts needed

• Full-time; morning and weekend availability required (Tuesdays - Saturdays, some Sundays)

Compensation

• Starting pay is at $20/hour for non-experienced bakers and $22/hour for experienced bakers, with an additional $2-4/hour from tips
